No elevator

I've ran into a problem. In ep. C13 Our Benefactor (H-L2) there's suppose to a number of soldiers that appear on the catwalk, and then you're suppose to walk pass the flowing liquid. The problem is no more soldiers show up and I'm unable to get past the force fields to get to the elevator. Help me out. Is there a bug?
