No images in the "Hardware & Software" section?

I recently tried to post a picture in the Hardware and Software section only to find that I could only link to it. It seems strange that people can only link to pictures of their error messages or (as in my case) diagrams. Just wondering why that is.

I reported this months ago. I think Mr. Glenn said he'd look into it. That's about as far as it went. :/
