Apparently, they think that any HL2 modification is "not notable enough" and

"Oh my lord, is there anything on the face of the earth less notable than a yet-to-be-released unofficial video game mod? Probably not."

Right, if our Wiki article is deleted, where will it stop? Will your mod's article be deleted as well? Are all mod's insignificant to wikipedia? Please, help us turn this notion back. Post your comment in wiki's article for deletion, I posted the link above. Don't forget to include Keep somewhere in your subject. Appreciate it.

Ignore it if you must, but pitch in your vote! I was happy to keep this between us over at No More Room in Hell but their use of seniority broke the camel's back. We'd appreciate it if you guys helped :)

By the way, apparently they've gone after Zombie Master as well marking them down for afd. Just thought I'd throw that in since, to my knowledge, Zombie Master is your child.

The NMRiH "article" should be deleted, as well as Zombie Master and every other unreleased mod.

Btw, the nominator has Asperger's Syndrome, don't fight him.

The zombie master article does, in fact, suck.
Sorry to whoever wrote it, but I won't miss it when it's axed.

Hmm I wonder who did it...

Doesn't he post on the Zm forums?

I remember looking on the No More Room in Hell forums, and I remember them being filled to the brim with not only massive amounts of trolling and flaming, but also blatent racism and white supremacy. It wasn't confined to one thread, and it wasn't even in off-topic.

That was like two years ago. Despite being totally into a zombie-based mod idea, I lost all respect and forgot all about them until this very minute.

On the topic of the wiki article, nobody cares, its an unfinished unreleased modification for an existing game. I would argue for finished and popular mods, but not every damn mod idea that graces itself with some forums and media every few weeks...

Wow, he sounds like a total dickhead...

Does voting for the article to be deleted count as helping? Because that's what I did.

It's an unreleased mod. You should work on updating your Valve Developer Community page first. ;-)

Could care less if our wiki is deleted, its not there for us but people who are interested in what we are about who cant get enough info in our irc/forum/website/moddb etc etc.

100% true.

Fixed, and I agree.

We've since cracked down on the flamboyant trolling, flaming, and racism. None of that is tolerated anymore and is grounds for bannage if it continues. Now it's a rather pleasant community that is actually funny. Granted, we've sort of reached the bottom of the barrel in terms of new ideas for ideas and suggestion, but that's what happens after a long period of time.

As for my feelings on the wikipedia, I don't really care if it's deleted or not. All I ever wanted to see was if we'd win considering the generalizations on notability based only on it being a fan made mod. But it's seeing comments like, "Strong delete, fan game mod... absolutely not notable for Wikipedia article, and unless something truly extraordinary happens, it never will be" that really tick me off. Oh well, if it is deleted I was and never will be one to hold a grudge.

Its good to know. Sorry, I didn't really mean to start a fight about that or anything, it was just something I remember from a long time ago.

I do remember liking the premise of this mod quite a bit. Good luck with it :)

I also think that most people on Wikipedia are self righteous pricks, and I would ignore anything that any of them say. I don't think that any unreleased mod is good enough to be Wiki'd, but the comments they make are usually so blown out of proportion and demeaning... I would just ignore them.

Morgan Wick listed the deletion on Zombie Master.

Well, those kids love destroying people's made up work. And he's a high school student,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Morgan_Wick

At least he must state a reason why he wanted the article to be deleted. Get a life, high school ass hole.

Update 1: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Evil:_Twilight wikipedia also been requested for deletion. And the person is: Noob cannon lol, wow nice name, the name suits him.

I don't know how many mods can claim over 100,000 posts over a period of three years, many mods cannot even claim to have lasted three years. No More Room in Hell is the first of many HL2 zombie modifications, has been published in a noted gaming magazine, and needs to be treated with the respect it deserves.
IM really sorry but...its unreleased but in development for 3 years, how does that statement increase 'notability'. Also, first of many zombie mods? christ, how many acutally still exist / are released? Weak argument but im against deletion

Also, about that Morgan Wick pratt, its pretty amusing. He is basically advertising himself as "im oh so clever with my huge nitellectual capacity" but also saying "if i offend you its not my fault" - what he is forgetting is that he is inherently a malfunctioning human, whichi tihnk decreases his notability somewhat....

I agree... I had read that Morgan Wick's profile. He thinks high of himself just because he is a high school student. *Sigh*, I hate teenagers nowadays, they are just acting like smarmy four-eyed gits who can't get a real life.

And anyway, I had to ask a question, how many zombie mods are there? My estimation is, 300,000.

This same exact thing happened to our SourceForts wiki article. You can read all about that here. In the end it was considered indecisive, only becase the defendants were prominent enough in the Wikipedia society. Yeah... after looking at the No More Room In Hell article and comparing it to the SourceForts article, it seems that the SourceForts article contains more historically based information which would suit an encyclopedia more, but hey, whatever works.
