I recently made some PC upgrades, changed mobo, processor, RAM, and hard drive.

I didn't change my soundcard though.

After getting everything finalized, my Boston BA7500G speakers won't output sound from my Sound Blaster Live soundcard. I upgraded the drivers to it, considering it's a new HD, and they still won't work.

The speakers themselves physically work, because if I turn the subwoofer all the way down to start the test mode it plays the hissing test noise in all 4 of the speakers.

I tried another set of speakers with the card to see if they'd work, and they do. It's just the BA7500's that won't play sound from the computer.

Any ideas?

I just tried reversing the cable from my PC to my subwoofer back panel. Didn't do anything. Scratch another one off the list.

Update again (and sort of a bump):

Tried various drivers again, including most up to date I could find.

Nothing's worked.

Someone help :[

EDIT. Argh, this is an edit to the previous message but the time expired

I just tried them in a CD Player. My other cheapo speakers work on the CD player. But these didn't work on the CD Player either.

Now either

A: Something's broken in the BA7500's. or
B: They only wouldn't play in CD player because it needs digital?

Hey, I've still got hope :[

Edit: If a mod could combine these into 1 or 2 posts that'd be great. Sorry for the consecutive posting ;x
