No Sound in CS Source?

Hi

Ive got CS-Source installed but when I run it it doesnt give out any sound.. nada, nothing.

ive tried the sound test with various options for the speakers and it still dont work.

My sound is ok in other games (far cry, doom3) and in Windows XP. Ive also tested the dxdiags and that checks out too.

Im running an AMD XP 2500+ with a SP Live

Any ideas on how I can fix or diagnose this problem in CS??

Just to let people know in case they have the same problem.

I re-installed my XP SBLIVE drivers and all the sounds re now ok.

odd thing was that it only failed in CS. every other game was ok.
