No sound

This morning, CSS stopped producing sounds. Since I didn't alter anything that could even remotely affect sound, I figured that this was intentionally done by Valve. However, since everyone else is still getting sound, it can't be.

Simply: WTF?

Set voice_enable to "1".

okay, I had this problem too. What you do is...
make a bootup disk with command prompt on it
restart the computer with that disk in it then type
Format C:

It should fix the problem for you. The sound will be back once you do that.

damn it, I wasn't fast enough. next time I will type faster before he responds.
