alright i have a pretty dooky comp in my room..celeron 800mhz 256 mb ram yada yada yada....and any ways, i cant get any sounds out of it...it has an integrated sound card, but fr some reason i cant get it to work..any helop is appreciated
 
goto Drivers then choose your operating system then click audio. Download a via audio AC'97 codec doesnt really matter which one i dont think.
 
didnt come with one... it was kinda a gift...ill use everest to find the mobo model number and dload them....does that sound like it would work

DON'T DO THIS.........
I have never seen a via motherboard that uses a celeron cpu, most celeron, P2 & P3 cpu's can be found on Intel chipset motherboards, If you check, you'll probably see that the motherboard is a 440BX or later model.
Remove your case panel, look at the board, and it will probably say what board it is in Gold writing on the board, look between the PCI slots.
Then google the board name, and look for drivers for the sound chip compatible with your operating system.
Also check whether the onboard sound is enabled in the BIOS, this will probably be in "advanced chipset features" or somewhere like that.

Don't install the Via 4 in 1 drivers, they won't work and will screw up your Install.
