No sound?

well my pc kept crashing and stuff so i took it in to some i.t nerds who fixed it. Except now there is no sound coming from my speakers. i have gone into the bios and reset to all the defaults and reset my sound card options to all the defaults. These guys have messed about with something, but im not sure what

anybody know what it could be?

btw my sound card is a creative audigy ls

Go into the bios and look for the setting to disable the onboard sound. Plug your speakers into the right jack on the sound card and get the driver cd for it and install teh drivers. The 'it nerds' might have uninstalled them.
