something i noticed the other day while playing css at a lan cafe was that a player had written their name in arabic... and i was able to read it.. it wasnt just strange symbols in place of it
can someone explain this? is hl2 supporting multi languages across every system? whats the dilly

The character that you whish to put in your name will probably be listed on character map on your computer so all you have to do is slect them in character map and copy them then go into the game right click on the space where youy fill in your name and click paste.

To open character map simply click Start/All Programs/Accesories/System Tools/Character map

Hope this has been usefull

yup thats how you do it its fun to do it sometimes and make a cool name

...it's a refined dialect of the local leet-speak.

rofl  I have never actually made a name using character map for CSS, suppose i'll try my name using it later.

actually you can enter a foreign character using alt+4 numbers. Example: Ã
Hit Alt+0, then 1 (while still holding alt), then 9 (while still holding alt), then 5 (while still holding... you get the pic). The problem is you have to memorize the 4 digit character

another way to quickly get to the character map is

Start > Run > charmap
