noob question

i have a positively nub question.

how do i bring the console down? so that when i press ~ and the console comes down?

i only need it to set:

cl_forwardspeed 400
cl_backspeed 400
cl_sidespeed 600
sensitivity 3

please help?

Go into options>keyboard>advanced - then tick the developer console box.
([EDIT]- or you could add the line
-console
to your launch options or command line(for a shortcut) )


But if I were you I would also put these commands in a userconfig.cfg then add the line -

exec userconfig

to the end of your original config.cfg

this way you don't have to type all the commands into the consloe every time you start cs

(if you don't know hwo to make a userconfig.cfg, then simply browse to your cs:s config folder [steam/steamapps/(email)/couter-strike:source/cstrike/cfg]

then make a copy of your config.cfg, open up the copy with notepad, delete all the text in there and simply add your own commands. Save as userconfig then right protect it (right click- properties)

btw does this mean we'll be seeing you around the servers now?
