Noob Server Starter...

I'm trying to get a CS:Source server set up and having severe problems because I have only a slight clue as to what I'm doing.

I have a "server.cfg" file ready [I think it's written correctly] and I'm now trying to figure out how to run the Source Dedicated Server so it will use that config file.

Can anyone help me out here? Where exactly is the "server.cfg" file supposed to reside?

Right now it's in: "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\kizmar\source dedicated server\cstrike\cfg"

If anyone has set up their own dedicated server please help me out here!!

Don't use the dedicated server threw steam, there is a different one.
I totally forgot the name, but i have used it, but it is command prompt, and if u can't get the steam one working, i dont think u would get this one : p

I can run the console with what I have but I'm just not sure how it all works..

Is there no one out there that knows how to get a freeking server set up correctly that's willing to help me?

I'm a software developer so it's not like it'll take a lot of explaining, I just don't know the in's and out's of the Source Dedicated Server config sintax 'n stuff.

What does a "server.cfg" file look like, and how do I exec the dedicated server to use this????????
