Noobs questions about Geforce4800se

Hey guys I have a Geforce4800se and i am stupid so i have questions that not stupid people can answer?

Since this is a directx8 card is there a point to downloadin the directx9 drivers due to hidden hardware stuff or stay with the dx8.1?

Second question is along the same lines. Is there a point in me down loading the new Nvidia drivers? My current is 41.07. Should i download the new ones? (I think there 45 somthin)

Plz dont flame me if the answer is obvious.

im not sure about dx and your card, but you should always get the latest drivers that come out for it. (unless they are bugged up but i think the current ones are fine)

Yes, downlaopd the 44.03 divers. Ywes they have DX9 stuff, but nvidia has been goot about imporvoving everyhting at on time.
