Despite recent studies by the US Navy that suggest gaming can help make you the perfect soldier, it seems that if you've got designs on becoming a globally-feared North Korean despot, you'd best put the controller down.

According to a 2008 cable between the US consulate in Shanghai and the US State Department procured by Wikileaks and reported by Kotaku, North Korea's ruling despot decided against grooming his youngest son for succession because he plays too many videogames.

who knew playing video games was a way out of becoming a despotic ruler? he must not have played the Civ games

Is this the same son that tried to go to Disney Land illegally?

"disney land" and "illegally" shouldn't even be in the same sentence.

no only the ruling class has video games and things like food, medicine, education, healthcare ...etc etc

There goes our diplomacy.
"We will give you the Half-Life 3 beta, if you stop being a ******."

Or man... lungs? What the **** I never noticed those things before but whoa.

I've said this before but how would they react to Homefront? A game made in Imperialist America about Best Korea invading Imperialist America must sound pretty confusing even to them.

nah I think they have similiar reactions to the japanese who play ww2 video games; they swallow their rage and mentally tally how many americans they're going to kill the next time they visit disney
