I don't know, maybe I being spoiled having been playing with you guys for awhile and kicking the snot out of everyone. BF2 is based on teamwork, and, well, the game to me isn't fun without a working squad. If not, I'm just running around gettibng squashed.

I find that I'm playing it less-and-less without you guys.

:(

it's true. the game can be fun solo... but can't touch a decent squad experience.

often times I just play bots if there aren't any netters on.

I play sniper, and through my scope ive seen many a flag getting capped because a squad of mec moved in, and just rocked a base of USMC all scattered about, which each marine is thinking they're so cool they can fend of the world with their pistol.

I prefer playing in a squad. I only find playing solo fun, when I'm Spec Ops.

Squad's fun, but more often than not I'm a lone wolf. I always join squads, and I'll back them up when needed or when I'm a supporting class, but lately I've played less medic and more spec ops and sniper. I seem to accomplish a great deal more alone or with a partner than with 5 other people.

I often manage to wind up in a good squad, more often on ranked servers. Although nothing quite beats the teamwork us hl2netters pull off.

i usually solo as medic, assuming some of my good friends (some hl2.netters, real life friends, etc) arent on. i will join a squad, but typically be all over the place so i can heal whoever needs to be healed. i dont play as sniper or spec ops very often... it bothers me wandering about with a slightly emptied health meter. medics are just a lot more flexible :)

bf2 is what you make of it... i could have fun in any role doing anything. even anti tank, something i HATED about bf42 i am happy to do.

I have concluded, through days of intensive research, that Battlefield 2 is exactly 83.47% less enjoyable, when you aren't in a good squad.

I like playing solo, mostly because I am a dang good flag capper. I can sneak around really well and keep capping flags behind, I almost always win unless my team is full of smacktards.

Everytime I'm on a server I join a squad. If no one on the squad spawns on the leader except me, I keep changing squads. If I can't find a squad where everyone sticks together, I start whining in the mic.

Which is exactly what I did yesterday in my first BF2 game ever. I played the US vs. Chinese map with all the rivers going downstream towards USMC. I had to make a squad and only got 2 people on it, and only one stuck with me. I can't wait to play with yall.

Yeh I find squads a lot more fun than going lone wolf. As soon as I join a server I join a decent squad, or make my own. Like TheSomeone said it's best if the squad sticks together, especially when you're a squad leader and your squad follows you around like sheep :)

When I join a game where nobody is working as a team, and the squads are just people who dont even work together, I go Commander. Its a good break from the action (when im commander I just prone at the main base or hide somewhere and do solely commander stuff) and if you do it well, you can get people to work together. I have been commander in a few games recently, and soon people will start forming squads, listening to orders, requesting UAV/Artillery/Supplies, and then it becomes really fun. Like Gh0st said, its what you make of it. If its no fun because nobody is working together, take up a leader role and get people to work. Its not only better for you, but better for the other people too, since they will also enjoy it more.

sorry for the off-topicness but I didn't really need to make a new thread for this question. In Single Player mode can you get more that 16 bots?? Just a general question, not that I don't like playing online, I love it, just wondering. Thanks. :)

Teamwork > Solo

Tonight I had one of my friends on TS and 4 other random players on this server following me, the SL around like a sack of diamonds. The teamwork was amazing, and we had about 3 medics, so we rarely had to respawn.

However, if you're a good pilot, or just looking to gain some awards and stuff, you could just hop into an armored vehicle or plane and do some hefty damage.

I can have some good fun in non teamplay games. But just tonight, it really pissed me off, when I repeatedly called for a medic, found some medic off on his own, and started going for him. He saw me, and started RUNNING AWAY! For god ****ing sakes people, I was in the red, and this guy was a ****ing medic, and I was on his ****ing team, what in gods name makes a man run away from his own dying teammate when he can help the poor chap out!!!
