I can't remember when but somehow my Icon on my desktop has changed on my Internet Explorer icon. It has changed to windows explorer icon (a folder with a clock arrow pointing inside). I was wondering if anyone knew how to change back the icon to its original form. I know the original is intact. Thanks .

This is just a guess, but:
Right click desktop -> Properties -> Effects -> click on ie -> Change icon

If ie isnt one of the choices, then i don't remember

And if its just a shortcut to ie then all you have to do is go right click, properties, change icon

Heh everything but IE was an option.. and I know I can make a shortcut and change it back to the original but thats not the point. I want to fix it. I think I'll have to go into the registry but im not too familular with x64 reg so.. I don't want to just fool around with my baby.

You could always use resource hacker to change the icon

Just open up the exe file with it, go to icons, and change the new ones to the normal ones.
