What language was HalfLife2.net written in? I know it uses php, but I've been curious about the source code itself. I'm an amatuer programmer and have taken a few classes, but never really designed any web pages or anything and have never really explored anything beyond C++, so my curiosity is getting the better of me.

vBulletin, written with php. PHP is a full language.

Oh cool, thanks guys.:thumbs: My university offers html,java, and javascript, but not sure which courses php and vBulletin would fall under. Server-side web design maybe? I'll find out someday I suppose.

I doubt you would find college courses for Vbulletin, its a software package. Maybe private ones. PHP on the other hand you might find. Its fairly simple to teach yourself as well.
