When are these magical "holidays" that Hl2 has been delayed to? Does it mean Christmas time? Some time in november? Possibly October 25th? (My birthday )

November -> December, I think.

It's just a vague release date. My guess is that Valve is going to work on the game and just one day say "It's done" and release it.

It would be cool if they did that. Make us think its not coming out till next year, then suddenly release it in october or november.

Honestly I don't care when it comes out, as long as Valve are happy with it.

I'd laugh if they delayed the game by 2 days or something. I really wanted this game to come out on time. Its not a problem that its delayed, but i just wanted to play it.

I guess.... but my PC isn't up to spec anymore... and since I plan to use it purely for modding HL2 when it comes out.. it needs to be better than a two year old clunker

The PC i was using was 2 years old. Although it didnt do bad considering what it was put through. For instance, installing windows and linux on the same drive. I remember years ago, a computer generated cartoon was made. I really loved that cartoon. Anyway, it was set inside a computer, with people with names like glitch and the big city was called mainfrain. Anyway, i for some reason, imagine that only two warring sides. Windows and Linux.

Weird...yes, but interesting to think about
