i took my videocard out today to take some pictures so that i can upload them on ebay and sell it. when i put it back on, it wasn showing display. i tried it couple of times then it worked, but it become all glitchy.... it was wierd.... now im using the onboard gpu. i tried disabling and used my card but didn get the display. the fan is running fine. should i uninstall the current driver and install the driver that came with my card?

What drivers are on there? It wouldn't hurt to uninstall drivers, put the card in and reinstall drivers.

Turn off the powersupply switch and then put the card back in. Just make sure the card is in all the way in the slot. Then turn the powersupply switch back on. Do you think it got a shock of static electricity when it was out of the case?

i got that new driver....91.31 smth like that. when i put it back on, everything was turned off, including the psu. im not sure if it got static electricity...the fan is running....

i wouldnt use teh 91.31 drivers they are kind of buggy go back and use the 84.21s

I tried so many times to install my gpu but nothing appears on the screen. i have uninstalled and disabled the onboard drive and tried loading the gpu but nothing works.... the fan runs. did my gpu become spoilt cuz of static electricity? im thinking of RMAing it to PNY. i still got 2 more months till the warranty ends....

Before the warranty expires, try installing that GPU in another PC, to rule out a possible MB issue than a V-card issue. Then RMA if you have to.

Good Luck.
