Any reason why my sound wont work while playing HL2 on my bigscreen? I have a newer 42" 16x9. I also have my soundcard plugged into my Technics SA-DX930 receiver. In windows and Desert Combat it works thu receiver. But when I play HL no sound.

Im sure you tried this but set it to 2 speakers (or whatever configuration you are using) in HL options?, has the sound ever worked in HL2?
