Notepad files

I was recently playing call of duty united offensive and it uses the program punkbuster for anti cheating. It really f**ks around your game cause it scans so frequently and stuff. I found how to fix the problem though. This website says create a pbcl.cfg text file and add a bunch of stuff in their. Is a pbcl.cfg file just a standard notepad file or do I have to edit something else as well? If you have any idea the help is appreciated. Thanks.

If evenbalance says you should put that stuff in a notepad file then it should be ok. Whenever I've had problems with PB I usually just ran PBweb.exe and that fixed it. If PB says you can make\edit a .cfg file then go for it, just be sure you follow the instrucions that are given very closely :burp:

EDIT: Sorry I didn't read through your post clear enough......I suggest you only goto www.evenbalance.com for support and not attempt to do anything unless they tell you otherwise. You should really check with them before you attempt to edit anything!!!! You could end-up changing something that should'nt be changed and wind-up getting placed on the master ban list.
