i come to this site daily like many of you, and the frontpage is dead. The Gabe Newell Interview thing has been there for about a month already. I am waiiting for a new headline! Release date more importantly. But yeah, change your headlines fellas, do us a favor put more news etc.

HL2Central at least puts up some new mod news/images when nothing is going on. Maybe HL2.net can pick up some active news posters or at least Munro can give the go ahead for the content providers to post mod news in these harsh times?

I'm not sure. I mean who wants to know about some crap winamp skin some mod team have released? Most of the content coming from mods right now is pretty much rubbish and it's obvious they wont be around in a couple of months time. I'll see what I can do about posting the more important mod news - new stuff.

Your right about the first part. The mods that arehere to stay are defiently obvious right now. maybe a few of their new renders on the homepage and such. it doesnt bother me though, I come to view the forums :naughty: hehe.

We have a whole forum section dedicated to mod news, we don't really need it on the front page as well.

HL2 is going down the shitter, the game will rock, but the PR for this is horrible.. the site just stopped giving information minus the odd "Mr newell merry xmas shit" in the info thread...


I would like to at least see a dev update, a new screen, even a hello..

I check this site once a week now, whereas before it was 5 times a day..

yeah, the site has been pretty quiet lately. Maybe try to get some interviews with some people. at least update the main page more. If news from the mod teams is the only thing worthy of news, post it on the front page i say, better than the 2 week old gabe interview link.

I don't know what I want. On one hand I definitely want to see more info on HL2. On the other hand, what info do I really want to see? I still want the game to surprise me (weapons, characters, settings, etc) and we've already been given quite a bit of basic info already in emails and interviews. What else can they give us? I assume even they don't know when they will release the game yet and probably the best material they can release are updates on development... "business as usual":dozey:
