that the crosshair doesnt change much when shooting, its still like cs 1.6 right? where it doesnt hit right where the crosshair is?
 
no actually the crosshair is new, and when you crouch, after about 3 seconds, it gets very tight.
 
you can probably specify whether you want it to move or not via the command cl_dynamiccrosshair 0/1. I assume this is implemented into source because it is in 1.6.

it does that in cs1.6

however he was asking about recoil (well it seems that way). the bullets have recoil patterns just like in CS1.6, there isnt realtime bullet ballistics going on.
