holy cow.

i once saw a vid of a Nasa space shuttle fuel producing factory catch fire. It was burning and exploding with mini explosions everywhere and a huge plume of smoke. Then, the whole dam thing just exploded in want giant mushroom cloud and shockwave. It killed 23 nearby workers instantly and shattered the glasses of homes in a 100km radii. Was in the worlds Most Amazing Videos TOP 10. Dam, i wish i could see that vid again..

Yeah, they are almost all shot off barges. Some of it is off of the bridge.

I was there for that show.

Not quite sure, but:

Up one from last year (for a total of 51,333), over 60 tons of fireworks shells, some larger than basketballs, will be fired from 1,800 feet of barges and two Ohio River bridges. The show requires 2 million pounds of sand and 250 tons of firing tubes of all sizes, up to 10 feet high and 1 1/2 feet in diameter. As much as 700 miles of wire cable connects 20 laptop computers to the command post for synchronization to music.

This year over 60,000 shells were launched.
