Now that it's gold.. Maybe Valve should let us..

I think Valve should at least consider allowing HL1 Source be playable for us to give us peoplle that have already paid/downloaded the game something to do for the next month.

Plus it would give us some incentive to replay that game before the second game is out. No one is going to play it over if they can just go right into HL2.

What do you guys think?

I think the have considered it because that would make more people buy it over Steam instead of retail. But they don't want to make troubles with Vivendi I think.
