Well, this might have been posted before and sorry if it has. In fact, this isn't really that much of a trick, in fact it's pretty lame. Once again, sorry if it's been said or if it's not worh the trouble, but I think it is because of the friends list capabilities and all that.
Well anyway, I got that DoD on steam thing from JDubbs site, and I thought, as most other people, "Hmmm, if this works, then why wouldn't another mod". So I started to search within the Steam folder for the DoD folder. I found it and saw it was in Steam/SteamCache/Accounname/Half-Life/modname(inthiscase, dod). Sooooo, I guessed as basically anyone else would, "Maybe if I put another mod in here, it'll work too!" Well, I did just that, copying and pasting my mods into Steam, and lo and behold, it worked. So now I'm playin NS and Sven on Steam. Well, I just thought that if anyone didn't know of this and wanted to play a mod on steam with Friends list capabilities and so on, just download Half-Life on Steam using the Games tab, paste the mods you want within your accountname/Half-Life/, and just load them up in the games tab under third party software.
Sorry if this is nothing new and lots of others discovered it, but I thought maybe some on here haven't and wanted to know. And sorry for not checking the search button first. I've said sorry so many times :\, so please don't flame. Thanks...... sorry.
Edit Whoooooops. I guess there already is a post about this on Steampowered forums. Well I guess this can just be seen as a notice to anyone who didn't know, so maybe the mods can gain more popularity.
Edit Alsoooo, the right click in NS is F's up so it's kinda not worth it, unless you know the evolve/radio commands already.
