Nuclear Dawn - Peer out from hiding.

Pretty good model. Is it a render or the actual ingame one?

looks like game detail, with a high poly normal map, I really want to see what that looks like in the source engine, great model.

Looks like one of the better designed characters to come out of the mod community. Gives me hope that the end result will actually be worth playing.

i'm really starting to believe everyone when they call this vaporware.

I liked the concept art they released a while ago of this character cooler :| but great model nonetheless

How convenient, a day after an INS media release!

Wow! it looks just like every other futuristic soldier.

I'll take something that's real, tyvm :p
What makes 3D real and concept art not real ? The third dimension ? Ill take something that looks cool.

edit: is that model the ingame one, it doesnt look that highpoly... nice texturing btw.

It looks awesome, like everything Nuclear Dawn releases.

Nice model.
Good to see their new modelers can keep the pace of the guy who made all those original player models. Those were some big boots to fill!

ND has always put out some of the best looking content for a mod , i love this render

It's going to look like a fudgesicle when it's finally in game. Just forget 85% of that detail.

XD that made me lol, but it should kindof look like that render.

Ermm... sorry but what you just said is completely retarded. If you play the game at full settings there won't be much difference at all, if you play the game at lowest setting then every model made will look crap.

Looks good, but tbh the one thing I keep thinking about these high end mods is what Gabe etc have said repeatedly...ship the core game ASAP with place holder assets (combine/resistance,etc) and then modify/tart up from there (with the bonus of decent feedback). The key to success is ultimately going to be down to the game play, and too many mods seem to be caught up in investing large amounts of time in making high end assets, half of which might end up getting dropped due to game play issues in the final analysis.

Thankyou

I've been saying it for months
