I'll add to this topic - hooray for me - I think Nvidia is screwing fans over. They want what is fast so that it looks good on benchmark program, but what they're really doing is screwing people over! ATI is soon going to become the Numero Uno GPU develop in the world. all because of that sweet thing known as the 9700.

as far as i can see when they turn the AA and AF up
the XT cards only loose 1-10 fps

Possible. Although, unlike 3DFX, we won't see Nvidia going away anytime soon.

THe radeon 9800 out performs the new "NV38" on UT2k3 by a fraction of a frame and with AA and AF on the 9800 lags by ~2 1/2 frames.

looks like ati didnt need a new card to compete
