Well a cool dude at the [G] posted a great thread, that I would like to borrow
And add a few words myself


Man, when the **** will nVidia get their act together again ? They were pissed off last week, at the low scores they got in the new HalfLife2 Dx9 benchmark. The GeForceFX 5900 Ultra scored almost 50% !! less than the 9800-Pro, which costs less, and is a "real" Dx9 card, where as the FX's seem to be only a Dx8 card.

Well they said they didnt have their latest drivers ready yet for HalfLife2, now they are almost ready to be released, but again, they ****ing cheat, by lowering the IQ (image) to get higher scores in HalfLife2

Btw, found a gif showing the difference of ATI and Nvidia (and MAN its large! This isnt just blurred. This is clearly replacing shaders all over the place).

So? isn't that what every kid on the internet does? jump on every bandwagon and abondon ship the second it starts to sink? I mean you can't blame these guys for flaming Nvidia, in the end I'm sure Nvidia will come out stronger and produce more efficient cards... or they will be bought by ATi and converted to an ice-cream factory : )

That's exactly what I said about the FX when the R300 hit the market

ok those TR pics, the second one has AA on and the first doesn't.

and dawdler, I don't see what is better about the ati version in that animated gif. it looks a little brighter but that's the only difference I can really tell. Looks more like opinion to me.

And before you flame me, I DID just upgrade from a g3 to a 9800pro
