Nvidia Drivers..

Hey everyone, just installed my 6800 limited edition 256mb last night and everything seemed fine on the 61.77 drivers. I come home today and my screen kept flickering off and on, and i wasnt even playing games. I called eVGA tech support and he told me to get the 61.81 drivers...so far i havent had problems with these new drivers, but does anyone have a clue why it messed up so bad earlier?
