:O All my games died?

I was gonna play some HL2: EP1. But, suddenly, all my games said 'Pre-Load complete- I was all OMFG?! HAVE I BEEN BANNED?!
I exited and relogged into steam, and there they all were. fine.
WTF HAPPENED?!

Yeah, it's a bug. It usually happens to me after I finish playing a Free Weekend game (The Ship, in this instance)

Happened the last time I played The Ship during the other free weekend, and during the DoDS free weekend I think, even though I have that one bought already..

Remove Clientregistry.blob

Tried and failed.

I tried removing everything except SteamApps and Steam.exe, no luck. Trying a reinstall of the entire thing now. Backed up Psychonauts.

Stupid scratched HL2 disk

Edit: did it and it worked.

I thought it loaded into steam and you never had to use your discs again.
