Simpson was found guilty of all charges just a few minutes ago, I watched the live court feeds. They're going through the polling now, nothing is for sure yet. all I know is they found him guilty for like 12 different charges, same with his partner. He's likely going to have life in prison.

Update: For the kidnapping alone, 15 years minimum.

I was going to post the same thing but damn you were quick. He should get close to life in prison which he deserves.

I thought the whole thing was that they couldn't re-try him once he had been found innocent.

This is for a completely different thing.

This is for a completely different thing.

oh! Nice. Can't wait to read all about this. He ****ing killed that bitch and he doesn't deserve to skate.

Justice isn't always swift, but this is sweet.

hahaha
while I was eating nice mexican food with my family he was wondering how long he's gonna be locked up in a cell

So, does that mean it's finally over now? :P

This trial has been going on for what seems like an eternity.

This is the kidnapping and robbery trial, is it?

Yes this a completely new trial over kidnapping and robbery. Has nothing to do with the murder trial.

Huh? Is this the same O.J. Simpson they let off the hook the first time for that murder?

If so, then /facepalm.

I am uninformed on this latest development.

Either way I'm glad he'll be going to jail.

No, no. A completely different O.J. Simpson, it's a very common name.

About time.

I however did not hear ANYTHING about this.

I guess the chewbacca defense only works once.

so there it goes my hopes of a new naked gun movie?:(

I read the wiki... I mean, what did they do, they didn't hurt anyone badly or kill anyone?

You don't have to kill anyone to get a hefty sentence, as these counts add up.

Yeah, but they usually drop many of them.

I did read that he refused to cop a plea deal. That was a big mistake on his part since he was guilty. He thought he would get off again. But even if someone does steal your stuff, that doesn't give you the right to turn vigilante.

Heh, so you can get a sentence for thinking about commiting a crime? Bring the mindpolice! And doesn't count 1 include robbery and kidnapping? Aren't those crimes? Let's add "conspiracy to conspire to commit a crime" and "firing a gun in a public place" as well as "not concealing weapon in public place" to the charges.

I suggest you read up on the U.S Criminal Justice system before making stupid comments

Yeah, seems they are giving him the hardest sentence they possibly can.

They usually drop some of the charges, getting to the more serious charges, though that may only be the case with a plea deal, I'm not sure.

This is not what 'conspiracy' means, lol. It has a pretty stringent definition, at least in UK law.

I had this conspiracy to kill the Queen, this one time. Then I realised I wouldn't have anyone who would buy me driving lessons.
