The expansion pack has been released, this one is a lot better than "The Knight's Of The Nine." Or at least it should be.

Though there's a decent amount of territory to explore in the Shivering Isles, the main story provides the most entertainment. Like the guild quests in Oblivion, the tasks Sheogorath hands out are varied, and rarely cause you to grumble over being slapped with a seemingly derivative fetch quest. There's a solid backstory for each, giving you ample motivation, and often the rewards snatched from an enemy's dead fingers or bestowed by Sheogorath and the various other NPCs in the main narrative are quite good. The plot itself is well told, thanks in part to Sheogorath's inane, self-contradictory outbursts that his mild-mannered servant, Haskill, will regurgitate in more digestible bits.

From what I can tell, it is the same old. Although that same old was an utter blast.

I just get this feeling when I play Oblivion, that no matter how enthralling the NPCs are, and enchanting the environments; I'm still playing alone in a generic fantasy environment. :|

however, this is just my opinion, I know Oblivion is critically acclaimed yatta yatta

PCGamer previews mentioned it had parts which harked back to Morrowind with general weird shit

From everything that I have read/seen, this should be anything but "same old" stuff. Can't wait to pick this one up. Maybe today...

I hear it's fun with the Daedric god of madness, or something.

Might download it from Marketplace if I have the cash. Which I don't, so bleh.

Want it though.
