Odd problem with connection

Whenever I turn on my computer I have to retart my connection, and unplug the CAT5 going into my computer and plug it back in for the connection to start working. This just started a few days ago and I didn't change anything. I run off of a router.

I have that problem with my router too... Upgrade the firmware if possible
