Hehe, this maybe sounds strange, but id be glad to see this model of mine in a mod. I dont have the knowledge or experience to animate and make all the coding to make it work in source. But if someone wants to use this for their mod. Please let me know, you can reskin/change what ever you want :)

looks good, a few tip first:

Add a little more detail on the sides, like "lock" stuff etc, but i dont know if shotgun has those?

sweet it looks awesome. im wortking ona fantasy rpg mod so it doesnt really fit with the other weapons lol

congrats on 666 posts and I might be interested (have to see, though).

Damnit man, we'll happily take any of your models...as long as their recreating Opposing Force models ;)

Have you found a mod to work on then?

Yeah ive found a project to work for, and yeah the shotgun isnt made from any real existing shotty, just made it from my mind as all my other models.

That looks sweet. I'm making a mod (like the sig. says) and would take it, but I think making models is the most fun of making a mod, so I'll make my own.

Looks great though. Nice skinning job with the discolored areas making it appear worn. I like it a lot.

Ah, cht* cht* cht* (lowers head shamefully)...

You know better than to model things without following a concept.

In my weapon set, the only guns I've ever had to redo have ALL been the ones made out of thin air - the ones that end up not working and being dumb/useless, or just plain misfitting. :hmph:

The weapons that I'm happy about were ALL modeled after a properly planned concept. Let's see more properly planned models out of you!

By the way, the skin is very nice... but as a fellow artist, that's the only compliment you'll get for that model. Should have properly planned it first and it would have come out a lot nicer. ;) :afro:

(take this as kudos)

I love it. Simple yet you know it's one badass mo****in gun!

I'll get in touch with you soon and talk to you about getting it in Xenos (which I still think you should model for :p)

Xenos? Sounds interesting.

I still don't get people's fascination for making gun models that are exacting to the n'th degree and that would work in real life. It's not like you're going to take the model and use it as reference for actually building a gun in real life. Only people who are seriously into guns would know if your model would work in the real world - the rest of us wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Hah, tell me about it. Check out my shotgun with no trigger :upstare: http://www.deefrag.com/images/ut/gunreal_images/Shotgun1.jpg

It's finished and all, but I forgot all about the trigger. I'll just tell them that this design is neuro-responsive, and fires upon sudden pressure applied to the trigger area. :stare:

In fact, most of my guns have no trigger, because you'll never see the trigger anyway.

Of course the realistic ones do, naturally :dozey: Just the futuristic ones, I always seem to forget about that part. :monkee:
