Well, seeing as this was the way the doug thread was hijacked, here is the offical old nick shows thread.


my favorite were Rocko's Modern Life, Global Guts, Salute your Shorts, Ren and Stimpy, and the Lost temple.

I'd have to say Salute Your Shorts, Doug, Rugrats (The earlier seasons, none of this new stuff), Global Guts (The ref in that show owned lol), The Lost Temple, and Hey Dude!

I vaguely remember like half these shows. I watched Rocko a lot, that was good. Does pink and brain count? they like shifted the old eps to nick not too long ago Spongebob is pretty cool.

Invader zim, gotta love that. not very old though.

If anyone here gets Noggin (some crappy premium Nick-"teen" station, comes with our basic cable package here), Clarissa and Pete & Pete come on every now and then

And wow, I forgot all about Donkey Lips! lol, ah yes. the memories.. the themesong is what sold that show

Allright guys, here's the lowdown. Using my Digital Cable I checked for all the old nick shows.

TNN, who I guess changed their name to Spike, play/played new episodes of Ren & Stimpy a couple months ago, dunno if it's still on or not though.

Nicktoons, plays just about every Nicktoon they've made. Spongebob, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Doug, Ahh Real Monsters, Angry Beavers, Rocko, CatDog, Thornberrys, Animaniacs, Pinky & The Brain. Didn't see Invader Zim though... Maybe on the weekends.

Noggin plays Daria, and I'm pretty sure this was what I saw that played Pete & Pete... But the rest of the lineup looks like crap. Maybe the weekends are better though.

Ah, Salute your shorts. I remember that show. I remember Hey Dude too. I never did like it that much. Another good show was All That. The original one. The first and second seasons were great. Remember Vital Information with Lori Beth? And Repair Man, Super Dude, Ms. Pidlin, Library Lady, Complaint Department, Ear Boy, Kevin, and of course Ed from Goodburger. Does anyone else remember that one show called Space Cases with all the kids from the other planets. Ah, so many memories. I wish they still played those. I know Pete & Pete still plays on a station called Noggin and I think you have to have Directv or satelite. Whatever. Anyway, good shows.

Arrrrrrrrrrgh Real Monsters, Rugrats, Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life (the coolest shortarsed wallaby ever), CatDog, Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, Doug... all cool.

But SpongeBob Squarepants... that show is freaking genius, dudes.

"Any particular reason you just took off your pants?" - SpongeBob
"Invisible paint stains clothing." - Patrick
"Oh. Yeah. It does too." - SpongeBob, removing own clothes

... from the best episode yet. Very weird show, but very cool.

I don't get those people who say these shows are just for kids. They have jokes in them that most little children won't understand until they're at least 14. I think so, anyway.

Can't say I ever had a thing for Hey Arnold.. and Dark, I agree, the first two seasons of All That were funny.. have you watched that show these days? It's moronic. Doesn't even make me smile, it's pure idiocy, like The Amanda Show.

No wonder today's kids are becoming stupider (well, maybe not all of them, but I doubt that the latest lineup of shows is helping kids develope mentally), its shows like The Amanda Show that are doing it to them lol
