Office 2003 interferring with other applications

Okay when I click on to my other icons that are not office 2003 related It starts up the installation package up. I already have it install and everything I don't know how to stop this because of this interferring it also blocks me from playing games. Anyone got ideas how to stop this installation program from coming up on any program I start?
