Valve may not be shouting about what they’re doing but if you’re smart you’ll be able to see some of their most recent work, the official Half-Life 2 site. It’s currently under going some testing so expect to see it appear soon. It contains information about the game, screenshots and also at long last an official news page!

well its all good for me as long as they dont do the same thing as there own site and just update it once and never again, an official news page will be nice though, we need a way to get official info and not have to check everything we hear.
 
to be honest, i cant and dont really believe thats some new design for the offical halflife2 site...why would valve ONLY use the images and ingame screenshots on there offcial website when they only released like 10....

well doesnt make sense to me, and doesnt look like a valve design to me anyway,

just my view on things...
 
remember people, in the last news they said there will be nothing new about the game until E3 so dont get too excited.
 
that was kind of mean of them to use the same old photos on that early page preview.. ah well i guess they're just sticking to the rule of nothing truly new until E3..

Well if that is the official site then I am disappointed, the layout is shoddy, and looks cut and paste job to me :(

I could be wrong, but http://half-life.sierra.com/ is the official HL site, and HL2.sierra.com has restricted access on it, too.

It looks like CS' cliffe made it, reminds me alot of www.counter-strike.net

hah, meaning it was stumbled upon by someone guessing URLs.. :)

I've tried to so many different URLs for half-life2.sierra.com, half-life2.com and valvesoftware.com/hl2/
I can't find anything past directory listing denied :(
 
That design looks crap. It's all been cramped up, the images look like they were dumped there out of desperation and it looks looks.... tacky. Seriously, I've seen better stuff created with the combination of frontpage and word.

Yea, I saw the same things. First I thought it was the combine ships, but then i saw its some kinda large birds (like paradactoles sp?)

The pic only loaded 3/4 for me.
 
The zombie picture looks like an older one, but taken from a different angle :)dork:). The old one showed a group of zombies and headcrabs coming towards you.

Looks like the zombies from the traptown vid (with the rotor blades), they've cleaned it up a little though.
