Offline lag

Hi,

When I create my own server in cs:source, it's very laggy and my ping is like 200. When I play on someone else's server its all fine and runs perfect. It's been like this since the last patch. Anyone else experiencing this?

i thought u were an idiot and thought u were lagging, but ur comp was accually bad, well this isnt the case, so i dont know

Maybe you have a weird upload rate on your Internet connection. Try & find what the optimum console settings are for your speed. Good luck in finding anything though ;( Internet is way too big when you have a question... Gah!

Buy a brand new computer.

Check for spyware/adware.

turn off your firewall and see if that helps. Whenever I tried to start my own server on CS while Zone Alarm was running, it wouldn't work for anyone else to join. I don't know.. Might help? ;-)
