OffLine Mode:

I know that there's supposed to be an "offline" mode for Halflife2, but I've yet to be able to find it. The reason I'm interested in this is because I'm a truck driver. When I leave for the road, my PC comes with me. Moreover, I want to be able to play Halflife2 while I'm on the road. I won't have an Internet connection, though, obviously. Help?

Unplug your cable/adsl cable and load Steam, it should give you the option to retry or run in Offline Mode.

Yup. Try loading Steam while not connected to the Internet (turn off the modem or pull out the cable if neccessary) and it will ask if you want to use it in offline mode.

Make sure your details are saved as well before disabling the internet.
