offline mode

hi guys
im new to this board and i started playin halflife 2 but i have no idea if im in offline mode....do u know what i have to do to get in offline mode....when i clicked on properties on half life it says offline mode ready....do i click on the stream or halflife 2 icon to get in offline mode....can u tell me step by step on how to do it please....1 guy said the icon has to be red and it is not red at all....

You just start steam without being connected to the internet, I do belive that is the only way, unless you have a software firewall, then you can just tell that to block steam.

Yes the white part are red instead of.. white
