double posting is forbidden, and you, what, quatro-posted.
learn to use the edit and search button... it's important.

thanks :bounce:

I've just built my new PC, it isn't hard to do, the main thing is to make sure you touch an unpainted part of your case everytime you move to ground yourself (remove static energy from yourself basically) before you touch ANY internal part of your PC.

My advice would be look at the PC your using now to get a rough idea of what and where the cables goto inside a PC. The hardest part i find is connecting the wires for HDD LED, Power Switch, Reset Switch etc which is fairly straight forward so that says how simple the rest is. Just dont get an OEM motherboard (make sure its retail - ask about it instore or somewhere if your unsure) because they don't come with a manual and you will struggle with connecting the wires i mentioned. The way the wires should be inserted is written on the motherboard itself but its very small print and not half as easy to understand as a plain and simple manual.

To reformat, or install windows its quite easy, when you first turn on your PC, stick the windows CD in first and press Delete on the first boot screen to enter the BIOS, in there you need to change the first boot device to the CD-Rom that the windows CD is in, then save and exit and allow it to boot as normal, it should run the CD before windows would normally load and its just like installing any game from there.

Edit/ Another thing to be careful about is making sure no wires are near the fans in your case (use tie-clips if need be) and dont force anything to go, but if you read the instructions on anything your unsure about, you shouldnt have a problem.

No fraternizing with random girls over the internet! Bad jerkasaur...your mother should have tought ya better. Don't ya know they are all 30 year old guys living with their parents?

Jokes aside...go to newegg and ask us questions if ya want help. It is best to try it yourself and learn rather than have someone do it all for ya.
