Adding insult to the Gulf's injury, a wellhead hit by a tug boat is now spewing oil near a Louisiana marsh area, officials said Tuesday.

The oil is shooting up 20 feet into the air, the office of Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser said.

Jefferson Parish Councilman Chris Roberts was quoted as saying by WWL-TV in New Orleans that "there is a pretty good amount of oil flowing there." He did not have a more specific estimate.

u must be kidding me. explain to me how something can be close enough to the surface of the water to be struck, but a boat manages to hit it?

Conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day with this. There was so much of it with the big one. Every time lately an accident in the energy sector happens, they're accusing environmentalist extremists.
 
The captain of the tugboat or whatever boat it was should atleast be kicked in the balls.

So, what are they going to do about it? Is it as serious as the present oil spill?
 
Looking at the material from the second house, it'll be looking like the first one in the a few minutes.

tbh Alex Jones stressed pretty hard that the initial Gulf incident was an accident.

It could very well be possible that since this is a well head it could be easier to contain and cap, since its closer to the surface and serves as an interface.

Well, look at it this way. At least it's not Plutonium nor Uranium. Then we'd have to deal with Rad-Shrimp and Rad-Fish.

(and when I say Rad- I don't mean they are the 'cool' variant, I mean they are the "Extra big and so aggressive that they want to kill every living thing they see" varriant.)
