And they're going to blow up... oh **** it, I can't keep up this bullshit charade.

This is causing a HUGE outrage amongst the right.

Terrorists roaming free!? This is an outrage!

Except for... you know, the facts...

But the Uighurs may be among the least threatening of the detainees whose fate must be decided, given that the Justice Department under the Bush administration already had decided that they should no longer be classified as "enemy combatants."

I mean shit... we better put all those criminals who were wrongfully convicted and later released due to being found innocent of their charges, back in prison.

Guilty until... guilty.

The four of the Chinese Muslims, or Uighurs, released to Bermuda from the Guantanamo Bay prison told FOX News that they are innocent, glad to be free and hold no grudges against the United States for their captivity.

With the help of a translator, they said they didn't know anything about Al Qaeda or Usama bin Laden, despite past allegations that they had aided the terror mastermind's escape.

"I am not a terrorist. I have never been terrorist," one of the men told FOX News. "I want to live peacefully."

U.S., "Terribly sorry about all that 'prison' and 'torture' business. No hard feelings?"
Ex Con, "No prob, glad to be out!"

The Right being outraged is like stink on shit - that's what they do. The reactions of these released prisoners does not compute. I think I'd be a little irate after that myself.

Well, except that the guys in this case are Chinese Uyghur. They viewed their time in Guantanamo as far more preferable to what they'd have to face in China if they were ever taken back there.

The Uyghur's have always been pro American, at least for a long time... and against the Chinese government. The Chinese government considers them terrorists far more than our government apparently did. I mean, we reclassified them as non-combatants. That's why we let them go the way we did.

Following the September 11, 2001 attacks in the USA, China voiced its support for the United States of America in the war on terror. The Chinese government has often referred to Uyghur nationalists as "terrorists" and received more global support for their own "war on terror" since 9/11. Human rights organizations have become concerned that this "war on terror" is being used by the Chinese government as a pretext to repress ethnic Uyghurs.[18] Uyghur exile groups also claim that the Chinese government is suppressing Uyghur culture and religion, and responding to demands for independence with human rights violations.[19]
