Not bad for what looks like instanced geometry and simplified terrain/foliage.. Now if everyone of those were completely unique I'd be impressed ;)

Not sure. Thingy posted a direct feed. I am not sure if its ingame or pre-renders. The car is definatly not pre-renders and that is ingame. But the huge armor I am not to sure about.

We already know that Gears of War features beautiful environments and it sounds as though they will also be highly destructible. Somehow, I cannot shake the feeling the the rants at the GDC were right....

No doubt about that. I love Vigilante 8, and this Full Auto seems to be basically it for the next-gen consoles. Forget Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden Black, and Dead or Alive 4 - Full Auto looks to be worth it. :)

Hmmmm..... I wouldn't say that at all, Vigilante 8 was more of a deathmatch arena. This is basiclly a race and u use guns etc... to blow cars out of your way.
 
Man.. looks really nice. I'm ashamed about it but I had a dream I went to pre-order the xbox 360 (at midnight, no less), and suddenly the police came and shot like everybody so I ran and somehow ended up in a police uniform and we started murdering people. It was frucked up. Then I found this cat like lying there and started hugging it and saying I "squandered" my time about something. Probably all that pizza before bed.
 
Wasn't Vigilante 8 based off Interstate '76?

Infact.... that actually just reminded me. I was in Contact with the people who made Vigilante 8 like 5 months ago about remaking the game under a mod. They sent a reply and told me they where planning on revisiting the genre on next generation consoles. But then again they did say gnre, so it could be a completely different game :(
