Should oilrig, along with the ability to make as_ maps, come to source?

we could possibly send the results to a member of valve. That could make them convert it to source, along with the ability to make as_ maps.

let me just say oilrig was awsome it makes the game more stratigic if you have to protect a person or else you lose

Yeah, I don't understand why valve don't just give you the option to make as_ maps, then make a competition in the community, they say port any map from 1.6 or possibly earlier versions, and then say 'if we thing your version is good enough, we'll add it into the game'. I'm sure you would get atleast one person porting every map. They can then give a bit of cash to the winners.

Problem solved :D

beautiful idea! maybe then more people would be happy with CSS instead of CS 1.5..

veterans would get the "classic" map fix that they miss now and the n00bs to CS would get a history lesson..

/me looks around warily

oh yeah! no offense towards n00bs was intended by this post!

yeah, it would also give valve time for making new maps and not worrying about porting the old ones.
