Ok, when playing the newly released Half Life 2 and Counter Strike Source on XP, it crashes and it comes up with this error message. What causes this error and how do I fix it?

BTW I am using XP.

That error code probably means nothing to anyone outside of Microsoft. Listing your hardware specs and the applications you are running at the same time as HL may help.

Its a common HL2 bug that many people are experiencing. Valve are working on a fix for this.
