Ok New g-card ONE AWNSER!

I cant get the simply awnser i am finding the BEST card right now (Or in a couple of weeks if there is one bein released) to have on my comp... i am considering a ATI radeon x850 XT but i dont no whether they are good or not.. Can some1 help me out.. and if they do have a good G-card would u consider getting a screenshot for me

ive heard its a great card its smooth with af and aa jacked up and all hihg resolution and setttings but it might change on ur other system specs

Video card isn't everything, you need a cpu, ram, and good hdd to back it up....

Oh and the X850XTPE 256MB is currently the best video card Ont he market, But then again, it does cost a small fortune.

I have heard that Lost Coast uses HDR technology, and that only cards that support SM3 can use HDR. I have also been told in another thread that there are currently no ATI cards that support SM3. NV6600GT and NV6800GT do support SM3.

What are the rest of your system specs?

I would reccomend a 6800GT, anyhow. I'm completely biased, however, because ATI causes my system to lock up all the time in games.

All the time in games = sometimes never in a day, sometimes 18 in 30 minutes, and so on. It gets very annoying, so for the heck of it, I replaced it with my geforce 4 mx, and it worked. So now I just bought a 6600, wish it was GT, for about $130 US. Works like a charm.

Or maybe you had outdated drivers...or maybe you had a really really old ATI gfx card....

ive had a lock up with video drivers after 10min of play on any game then updated and it works like a charm
