OK..this sucks..Half-life 2 problem

I just bought a Radeon 850XT and I'm trying Half-life 2 with it..so far it runs extremely well...except for one big problem...When I start the game and see the G-man talking, and after that when you get zapped on to the train, the game freezes...? Don't know why. I have my settings maxed out, full anti-alising, full filtering, everything on max. Anyone else had this problem?? Thanks.

dunno what the problem might be, reinstall? maybe its overheating? dunno

Try running an earlier version of the catalyst drivers. worked for me
