Old Alien TV Special?

I need help finding this REALLY old tv special that was on like 7 or 8 years ago. It wasn't like a documentary or anything it was this home movie where these people were having a thanks giving dinner and inbetween the video these "experts" were edited in and tried to explain some of the stuff happening. For example this one part happend where this blue orb flew into the house and touched this girl then she fainted, then this video expert tried to give an explanation as to if it actually happend or was this some kind of special effect. IIRC It started with the family eating dinner> then the power went out> the two boys filming went outside to the fuse box and saw that it was melted shut> one of them then piss's his pants then they hear a lightpole flickering up ahead> then they see a spacecraft and an alien shooting a laser at a cow then the last thing i can remember at the end is the boy filming goes into a room -- but in that room is an alien which closes the door then the boy faints and the cam corder falls. All of this was shot on a camcorder and scared me and my sister shitless. Does anybody know of or remember this video? Give me any links or something?

I totally saw that back in '97. No idea on the name though.

If it weren't so obscure, I'd guess the Blair Witch Project ripped off the idea.
It was far, far more frightening too.
But then again I must have been twelve at that point.

I remember seeing a thing similar to that. There's a wierd bit where the little girl starts pretending to play the piano (there is no sound) and the family are like "Where did you learn to play the piano?". The moral was that little girls work for the aliens!
