yo ppl, if you have some demos made before the update and you want to capture from them then upload them to the net somewhere and i might be able to get the footage from it.
i have 2 pc's so im starting my other one in offline mode so it wont update to the latest engine so i should be able to play old demos from the last month or so.
ive been out of town since before the inferno/port update and i just tried offline mode on this machine too and was able to play old demos so im assuming i can do the same on the other machine, that way i can go ahead and update this machine and play.
but you better get them uploaded quick and be nice about it, and they better be ****ing kick ass demos, too. im not wasting my time on scrub kills.
most likely ill just convert the .tga's to .jpegs and zip them up or just compress the .avi as well as i can and still upload it back to you so you can edit it in premiere/vegas.
youll have to find your own host to host the demo. if it's bar-none a kick ass demo then ill do what i can, through p2p or irc something.

i idle those so you might be able to dcc them that way, but zip them first or ill ignore you.
again this may or may not work as i dont know how up to date my other pc was the last time i played source on it, but i think it's on the same build im at on this one, before the inferno/port update. so they should work.
if not ive backed up all the relevant files (i hope) so i may be able to transfer the files over to that machine as well, if it's on an older build.
ill keep bumping this for the next couple days or so.
just dont get your hopes up either. it's been a while since ive even booted that other machine and the last time i did i had networking troubles between sp2/sp1 so i may not be able to transfer files, and my isp has screwed me until i can get a router to try and fix it since they're now limiting me to one ip.
